It's been four centuries since Steinarr the Pound was cursed by a wicked sorceress - along with the rest of his Viking crew - to live for eternity as a were-creature. By day, Steinarr is like any man - by night, he transforms into a lion. He takes refuge in the woods of Nottingham, England, where he encounters two young travellers, Robin and Marian. A kiss from Marian awakens his desire, and when legend spreads about an outlaw in the woods, it is Steinarr who has the most to gain - and the most to lose.
