评分1 good english is certainly simple english. enjoyable experience appreciating his mastery 2 Maugham is a great story teller, and he knows so much about those english colonial settlements - as a person staying in one of them (but not in south sea), it's interesting to know how the natives were perceived by the white people in the earlier years.
