Since quick fixes are decidedly easier than ones that actually require hard work, most of us, me included, desperately want them to work. For me, this has resulted in far too many pieces of exercise equipment being purchased based on the promises made in an infomercial and a complete willingness to believe that the answers to life's problems might be found in a book.
