这本书的翻译真心不错
评分从历史、社会、环境等角度展现穿越几千年而来的隼。一部人类文化学笔记。看完也为我的“猛禽崇拜”找到了源头，我想我也是将人类投射到自然界，在猛禽和人类之间画上了等号。隼处于食物链能量汇聚的终点，威严，高傲，敏锐，独立，这样的天空巡游者，“像一支不坠落的利箭，像一处不被遗忘的念想”。

评分阅读的过程中我突然找到了小时候研究动物的感觉，心里一阵温暖
评分并不惊讶地发现H is for hawk一书的核心理念（化物的危险性）其实在这里就已经出现过了：“变身的代价就是，‘有失去自我、远离真相的危险’……‘一个人偏离自身形象的世界越长，危险就越大’。”原来有一天我们以为自己已经明白的道理，会以另一种更深刻的方式叫我们再体会、顿悟一遍。这说起来有些悲伤。《隼》里还有叫J.A.贝克心生绝望，一心远离的那个世界——杀虫剂的滥用一度令这种猛禽濒临绝迹，雌隼产下薄壳、不育的蛋后，亲自吃掉了它们。而人类世界里古往今来对隼的各种投射，又大部分都渗透着凌驾与统治。讲到幼隼保育和城市隼的部分，难免叫人想到一度处境相似的大熊猫。推荐喜欢H is for hawk和《游隼》的读者阅读，是非常好的补充。
