真的很多絮絮叨叨的話（特別是第一書快結束的那幾章），不過相比 Julian of Norwich 算好很多瞭吧。可以從女性神秘主義、異端審判乃至朝聖之旅等等麵嚮來討論這本書，另外也展現瞭中世紀人的一些觀念、文化（比如 marriage debts）。（深夜發現 In Our Time 有做一期關於她的節目噶（複試的時候被問會不會中古英語，現在覺得其實當時可以把話題扯到這本書上的……
