Jones comic book art excursions included: Creepy, Eerie, Wonder Woman, and Flash Gordon. The popular '70s revolution in comics and fantasy art was led by Jones and his Studio mates. He then created two of his best remembered works: IDYL for National Lampoon followed by I'M Age for Heavy Metal.
