Most film-goers are unaware of the fact that, in the background, there is usually music to be heard, though specific themes and other compositions may stress the actions that are seen, usually in a most attractive and exciting way. This quality is best perceived when the composer has exceptional talent. Too little is known about the good composers who usually come from a background of classical training and experience The film-goer may be quite unaware of the fact that the music has in many cases enhanced the quality of the film. It has been exhilarating to explore this aspect and to identify the ways in which the relatively lesser known composers have also provided this quality; but the titans deserve the greatest attention and highest praise.
