Samuel Beckett, one of the great avant-garde Irish dramatists and writers of the second half of the 20th century, was born on 13 April 1906. He died in 1989. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969. Naxos系列。这版演绎很是入味。有不少精彩的对手戏，节奏控制得很好。广播剧的一大遗憾是没办法充分展现剧中默片和滑稽舞剧的元素，但毫不马虎的背景音效给人留以想象的空间。（当年帮助Beckett推动En attendant Godot在巴黎上演的Roger Blin曾说自己的理想选角是Charlie Chaplin饰Vladimir，Buster Keaton饰Estragon，Charles Laughton饰Pozzo，动作戏多么关键也可见一斑了）。
