现在出版的5本光晕小说里，它是最像文学小说的一部了。以黑人下士约翰逊为主线，辅以在Halo 1中被洪魔感染的杰肯斯的成长。还有咕噜人达达布和他的工程师朋友——比较轻。看到小说末尾才发现，这居然是一场本来不该发生的战争。
评分读的是中文翻译为出版版本。奇怪最新的这部怎么没有出现master chief了？虽然塑造了许多其他有血有肉的角色，但没有斯巴达战士的Halo就不是我认识的Halo啊～～病中追到坑平算是心满意足了
