Peter Wesley-Smith is Professor of Constitutional Law and former Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong, where he has taught for many years. A newly revised edition of his book Unequal Treaty 1898-1997 was published by Oxford University Press in 1998. His other books include Constitutional and Administrative Law in Hong Kong and The Sources of Hong Kong Law.
