This is the original English version of Tablo's first short story collection 『Pieces of You』. It contains 10 stories that give a glimpse into the secrets and not-so-great expectations of his coming of age. [Strawberry Fields Forever] [Break] [Rat] [The Walls of Our World] [Andante] and others, all written from 1998 to 2001 in and around New York, San Francisco, and Chicago, are stories about city life created through close conversations and interviews with a myriad of strangers. All of them are set in New York, but NY here is more a fictional place than the actual city. At the center of it is the shadow of an artist coming to grips with brutal realities. 『Pieces of You』 is a work that details the faint hope that exists within a city's walls.

It's not a comfort book.扉页上Tablo自己也这样说。透过这里的故事能瞥见些许李先雄早年生活的影子，沉默不安的儿子，放任自流的青年。不是comfort book, 但是希望读过这本的你们都能拥有坚实的信念与历经风波后的平和。

Tablo wrote this book in his young twenties. It's full of self-conscious and darkness. I can see the sorrow of this talented young man. He wrote those short novels in a simple but delicate way. They are more like poem, especially the one called The Walls of Our World.
