This is a well translated history of Stalin personal life from her own perspective written using the literature style of writing letters to a friend, which are sketches depicting her relationship with her father at different stages of her life. 著者簡介

斯韋特蘭娜·阿利盧耶娃，1926年生於蘇聯，斯大林之女。1949年畢業於莫斯科大學。曾在莫斯科大學、蘇聯科學院語言文學所、莫斯科外文書籍齣版社等單位工作。主要從事美國史、語言學等方麵的研究、翻譯工作。1962年皈依東正教，1967年經印度逃離蘇聯去美國。主要著作有《緻友人的二十封信》、《僅僅一年》和《重訪祖國》等。
