起初想要重讀托爾斯泰，就是想到瞭《西伯利亞的理發師》裏車廂內的場景，現在看來，女主讀托爾斯泰，也的確像這部作品裏說的一樣，是真正活著的人。相比安娜卡列尼娜，這本是精短許多，然而在我看來卻比托翁的其他作品要更加鋒利，也許復活纔能與之相比。伊凡伊裏奇之死，名副其實，死纔是高潮，寥寥數頁就能使人直麵關於生和死的拷問……There also the further back he looked the more life there had been. 昨天準備走的時候，學生突然過來，隻好陪她一起自習，這纔提前把這部讀完。“有時候我們坐在火車上會覺得火車是在嚮後行進的，直到某一瞬間纔幡然醒悟真正前進的方嚮”……什麼時候能去乘一次就好瞭，西伯利亞大鐵路，大概沒有比帶上一本托爾斯泰更閤適的瞭吧

跑題：讀這本的契機完全是因為茶在推上反復引用的“He in his madness prays for storms, and dreams that storms will bring him peace”。 網上流傳此話齣自《伊凡·伊裏奇之死》。可是我讀完瞭根本沒找到啊？！一個學習：原話齣自萊濛托夫的詩，托爾斯泰在他的作品中大概有過引用，但並不是這本。

一生追名逐利，死神降至時纔覺得不過白活一場，可悲又劃算啊，可悲是因為死不瞑目，劃算是追逐名利的大半輩子不覺得痛苦
