What started in Japan and Taiwan after World War II and continued in Hong Kong and Korea, has now touched Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Traditional societies and ways of life exist side by side with, or are giving way to, electronic and manufacturing productivity and consumerism on a scale that is nothing less than a revolution. 评分第一次看久保田博二的畫冊，紀錄東南亞多國。雖然他62年就旅居美國，但是從亞洲人眼裏拍齣的亞洲還是感覺不一樣。對於中國那部分的拍攝相當棒！個人感覺完全把握住瞭上世紀90年代初中國和中國人的麵貌。
