cannot believe I've finished book 9 of Sookie's adventure and still looking fwd to book 10! Sookie is such a cute & strong minded girl, who extactly the real reason made this vampire series attractive.

這一部太精彩，可謂集大成也。變形人步吸血鬼後塵“齣櫃”，引發的認同與仇恨大有文章可寫，而作者依舊能駕輕就熟地描摹復雜世情下的人倫百態。Sookie陷入前所未有的四伏危機，再度遍體鱗傷，仇恨組織與精靈鬥爭，帶走瞭好些讓人喜歡的角色，實在一陣傷感。Alcide與Quinn早已沒戲，Bill被洗白瞭一點，Eric真命天子姿態逐漸企穩，三角感情重構。又齣現瞭一個同性戀，是在Hoyt跟Holly戀愛後少瞭個跟班的Jason身邊的新朋友Mel，可惜始終沒什麼羅曼史可言。
