这是一部世界名著，是两百年前的英国女作家乔治.艾略特的作品。写的是爱情故事，最后是“有情人终成眷属”。小说的笔触细腻，形容和描绘非常生动，尤其是描写景物时候，那美妙的词语层出不穷！文笔真赞！此书足以可以当学生们写作的教科书了。
