Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. (November 11, 1922 – April 11, 2007) (pronounced /ˈvɒnəgət/) was a prolific American author. The novelist is known for works blending satire, black comedy and science fiction, such as Slaughterhouse-Five (1969), Cat's Cradle (1963), and Breakfast of Champions (1973).[2] He is also known for his humanist beliefs and being honorary president of the American Humanist Association.

这书有两个译本 一个是江西人民出版社的老版，还有一个译林的新版 网上也有在线阅读``基本和正版书靠不上谱 故事本身是很有意思的。 两种版本对照来看，则会觉得两者都有很大问题。

评分神書一部，完爆《一九八四》和《動物農場》。關於政體，關於宗教，關於人性。語言犀利，心狠手辣。但是總覺得高潮部分，思想的深度和文筆的妙處都沒上去，是真的還是我英文太差？【完成原版長篇就畫正字的一筆，100部之後，我就能摘下星星，變成太陽。
