Book Description This book describes and analyzes how a child's interaction with family， school， peer groups， media and community influences his or her developmental outcome. About the Author Roberta Berns is a Professor Emerita at the University of California， Irvine， as well as at Saddleback College， where she founded and chaired the Human Development Department. Berns also was a student of the renowned developmental psychologist， Urie Bronfenbrenner， at Cornell University. Now， she is married and living in California with her husband， who is a professor of biology and bioengineering.
