Author s Note
I want to thank those who have been tireless in their
assistance in the preparation of this book. Anita Sullivan and
Lynette Mitchell have been gracious enough to read and
reread these pages and give their thoughts and corrections. I
am especially grateful for Barbara Gibson who meticulously
proofed the text and prepared comments for me on the
content. I am thankful for the comments of my friend, Mary
Harker, who took time out of her schedule to read and
respond to the text at my request. I wish to thank my family
who found me up sometimes at two or three in the morning
because I had a thought 1 could not wait to put on paper.
