在audible上听的有声书。故事不是非常engaging，如果是看文字版本我很可能一半就弃了。优点是人物尤其Vincent心理描写非常细腻真实，有很多妙笔妙句。

慕着作者的名去的。没有她的那本Station Eleven好看。悬疑感觉有点牵强，但是画面感不错，拍成电影吧。

今年读过最好的一本书了！其中一个原因可能是小说里的城市我比较熟悉。读完可以配合听一听nerdette这个podcast里讲这本书的那集，解析的太到位了！她们讲的我最喜欢的一段是解析作者那句人们只喜欢从高级酒店的玻璃窗看到自然的美景，并不喜欢身处wild nature之中。这本书的关键词大概就是偷窃（Alkaitis 庞氏骗局，Paul偷Vincent的录像，Vincent妈妈“偷走”Paul爸爸...）和纵容（Alkaitis 17楼的员工，明知骗局还是参与的investors，当然还有Vincent）吧。

4.5 文笔带着一种magical realism的poetic但是又很effortless。ghost story把经济骗局都变好看啦。我对这种【你会被你最恐惧的东西杀死，你的恐惧是有道理的】转圈圈逻辑颇有偏爱。solitary but not lonely，感觉每一个character都是。以及……Columbus circle才不是uptown嘞！！
