著者簡介

Peter Hessler is a staff writer at the New Yorker (where he served as Cairo correspondent from 2011 to 2016) and also a contributing writer for National Geographic. He is the author of River Town, Oracle Bones, Country Driving and Strange Stones.

2019.10.17 六天時間，沒日沒夜的終於看完瞭。唯一可惜的是英語太差，隻能理解文字錶麵的內容，不過所描寫埃及狀況和當時在那旅遊時感受到的完全一緻，以至於好像又去瞭一趟埃及。而作者又從更深層中去發現原因。總之，太好看瞭。中立不偏頗。

Peter Hessler的新书看了一半了，看得挺慢的，一共30章，每天基本看一章。他离开中国以后就不习惯叫他何伟了，何伟像是一个特定的时间地点的一个人格。去年看恶魔奶爸的帖子才认识这位作者，去年底到今年初看完了他之前的四本书，那是97年到2007年十年他在中国的生活。而PH其实...
