评分海明威說這是美國史上最偉大的小說，我不敢完全贊同，卻還是可以一觀其高超之處。馬剋吐溫是個諷刺的好手，然而這諷刺是否真的能刺到讀者的心上還是有待商榷。更多人可能還是為情節所吸引，而Twain真正想要諷刺的19世紀三十年代美國南方的種族歧視等問題還是沒有能很好地傳達齣去吧。
