The definitive English version of the stories of King Arthur, Le Morte Darthur was completed in 1469-70 by Sir Thomas Malory, 'knight-prisoner'. 编年体的记述，流水账目，并且前后有自相矛盾处甚多 但毕竟是属于比较系统和全面的梳理了亚瑟的传说 但阅读的美感，还是丁尼生的《国王之诗》强
