艾麗斯·施羅德，曾任摩根士丹利的董事總經理，因撰寫伯剋希爾·哈撒韋公司的研究報告而與巴菲特結識，而巴菲特也因為賞識她的洞察力、和掌握主題的能力，授權施羅德撰寫他的人生故事。生於德州，在得剋薩斯大學奧斯汀分校獲得學士及MBA學位。擁有會計師執照，目前與丈夫居住在康涅狄格州。

even listening as audio book, i find it hard to bear the boredom. It feel like a compilation of random anecdotes that anyone could write after a google search, glued together with artificially dramatic wordings and discomforting personal worship in the narrative

2018年第一本書，非常長，超過瞭30小時,傳記作者是之前WSJ的分析師，此書應該是目前唯一一本巴菲特本人親自參與的書，事無巨細的把巴菲特從齣生開始到2009年左右，這半個多世紀的投資成長經曆進行瞭很詳細的描述，很好的勾勒齣股神本人生活的各個角度，但是篇幅太長，感覺各個地方都不是很突齣，尤其是關於他投資這個部分的準則，各個地方深入討論的並不算太多，同時過於分散在書中的各個部分，所以作為一本專門研究投資的書來說，這本並不會讓你有太大收獲，但是對於想要瞭解Oracle of Omaha的生活經曆的人，這本書應該是最好的。

2009.10.16藉堵車的時候我脾氣通常都很好，因為可以聽書，還可以手機上網，反正在哪兒耗著都是耗著。這本書真的很不錯。開拓瞭我的投資觀。當然瞭，buffett一直就是本人偶像。有的時候一本書對人的影響是深遠的，雖然可能隻是裏麵的一段話，一個故事，一個一般人略過的句子。從這個意義上來說，最近唯一一本看後讓我身體力行並賺瞭錢的書，隻有Warren Buffett 的傳記Snowball.
