著者简介

Shaun Tan is the New York Times bestselling author of The Arrival, Tales from Outer Suburbia, Tales from the Inner City, Rules of Summer, and The Singing Bones. He received the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2011 and won an Academy Award for the adaptation of his picture book The Lost Thing (from Lost & Found: Three by Shaun Tan). 我一度怀疑人们喜爱这本书是因为它太薄了。 临睡前拆开今天到的快递，都是图画书，这本《蝉》是图画书里最薄的一本，我掂量着睡觉前说不定都能翻完，就把塑封拆了，翻开了，大约一分钟不到，看完这本书的时间，不到六十秒。 出乎意料的悲惨境遇，简直近乎刻板地被歧视被孤立被...

从没有一本绘本，给我的感觉是如此压抑。从绘本的功能来说，它是给孩子看的，或许靓丽与鲜艳更为吸引小读者。拿到《蝉》时，我心里的疙瘩总会冒出来：这真是给孩子看的？沉闷、压迫、心慌的感觉朝我袭来。 第一眼的感觉有时就是如此真实，如此强烈。或许是这种先入为主的情绪占...
