评分感謝民翻！！1斑點帶子之迴歸、3莊園宅邸探案記、5阿德爾頓慘劇、6麵具俱樂部冒險記、8聖誕陰謀、11泰坦尼剋號冒險記，
评分霍剋的短篇數量那麼多，然而他幾乎將最好的點子都集中在霍桑醫生係列，其餘係列的水準其實並不理想。這本緻敬作，和卡爾那本《福爾摩斯的功績》相差無幾，若不“背離”原作，在不可能犯罪上大造文章，不是忠實福迷的話，看頭終究不大。《馬戲團花魁》與《莊園宅邸探案記》兩篇算是矮個兒挑的高個，最後一篇《泰坦尼剋號冒險記》以柯南·道爾的處女作《約翰·史密斯的告白》的主人公之名為橋梁，將福爾摩斯與福翠爾無縫鏈接在一起，手法很是獨特，但是由於篇幅有限，加上謀殺過於簡單，本可以寫得更好的，實在可惜。
评分愛德華•霍剋的歇洛剋•福爾摩斯故事，讀過8篇。雖說是名傢同人，但案子本身還是比較平常，不如看個梗看個緻敬看點多，本可以把霍剋式短篇和原著的滋味結閤得更好些的
