In the near future, at a time when Roe v. Wade has been overturned and abortion is illegal, cancer researcher Dr. Frank Glass determines that he can create a cure for cancer by combining fetal stem cells with a special enzyme from a rare frog on the Endangered Species List. Frank's lover and research associate Dr. Kelly Monroe allows herself to become pregnant so that Frank can abort the fetus and harvest the fetal stem cells.
