Analytical Mechanics provides a detailed introduction to the key analytical techniques of classical mechanics, one of the cornerstones of physics. It deals with all the important subjects encountered in an undergraduate course and prepares the reader thoroughly for further study at graduate level. 總體還不錯，就是感覺其中的數學做的不好，沒有考慮到學生的數學基礎，也沒有很kindly的在前邊寫一章數學基礎，強烈建議先看數學係的變分法有關的書，裏邊的數學簡明易懂。更新，數學足夠情況下看起來是真爽，的確是最readable的一本書，強烈推薦。

大二時（2014年）分析力學教材。最大特點還是講得非常細緻，很多例子可以說是在手把手教學生算。不過分析力學有很多細緻的東西確實是第一遍注意不到的。之後讀朗道的力學，雖然很多地方都講得不是很細緻，需要自己去理解，但我認為隻有靠自己想通瞭纔算是學會瞭。第二遍再看本書的時候發現很多讀朗道時懵逼瞭的地方，該書也提過，但是第一遍確實注意不到。
