Analytical Mechanics provides a detailed introduction to the key analytical techniques of classical mechanics, one of the cornerstones of physics. 總體還不錯，就是感覺其中的數學做的不好，沒有考慮到學生的數學基礎，也沒有很kindly的在前邊寫一章數學基礎，強烈建議先看數學係的變分法有關的書，裏邊的數學簡明易懂。 更新，數學足夠情況下看起來是真爽，的確是最readable的一本書，強烈推薦。
评分大二時（2014年）分析力學教材。最大特點還是講得非常細緻，很多例子可以說是在手把手教學生算。不過分析力學有很多細緻的東西確實是第一遍注意不到的。之後讀朗道的力學，雖然很多地方都講得不是很細緻，需要自己去理解，但我認為隻有靠自己想通瞭纔算是學會瞭。第二遍再看本書的時候發現很多讀朗道時懵逼瞭的地方，該書也提過，但是第一遍確實注意不到。
