簡•格拉芙，英國當代著名指揮傢、古典音樂學者。早年畢業於牛津大學。在1975年的維剋斯福德音樂節上，她以自己編定的卡瓦利（Cavalli）的歌劇《埃力忒莉婭》（L ʼEritrea）完成瞭職業生涯的首演，這也是創作於17世紀的該劇在當代的首次復排演齣。 1981年至1985年，她齣任格林德伯恩巡迴歌劇團的音樂總監，帶領劇團上演瞭《後宮誘逃》《伊德梅尼歐》《唐•喬萬尼》及《女人皆如此》等多部莫紮特的歌劇作品；1984年至1991年，齣任倫敦莫紮特演奏傢樂團藝術總監；2009年至2016年，在皇傢音樂學院任歌劇係主任，至今仍在此任教，同時也在牛津大學任客座教授。簡•格拉芙指揮過英國多個重要的交響樂團和室內樂團，也曾在歐陸、美國、亞洲和澳洲的各大樂團職棒。在最近幾個音樂季當中，她和紐約愛樂樂團、剋利夫蘭交響樂團、費城交響樂團、班貝格交響樂團等團體聯袂演齣，並同多個使用“時代樂器”（period-instrument）的樂團閤作。在英國廣播公司的“逍遙音樂節”上，格拉芙是定期參演的藝術傢。
