Born in NY in 1965 and studied physics and mathematics in London and Cambridge. For five years he worked in hostels for the homeless and ran a street newspaper.
This is a book about Stuart Shorter, who led a very controversial and unpleasant life.
"By turns shocking, inspiring, and hilarious, Stuart: A Life Backwards is a writer's quest to give voice to a man who, beneath his forbidding exterior, has a message for us all: that every life -- even the most chaotic, crippled, and doomed -- is a story worthy of being told."

评分從Alexander的視角來看整個故事尤為笑中帶淚,現實中沒有"and they lived happily ever after”,和Alex相遇並不能改變Stu的人生
