作者简介
蕾切尔·卡斯克（Rachel Cusk, 1967.2.8— ），英国作家，毕业于牛津大学新学院。1993年，她凭《拯救阿格尼丝》（Saving Agnes）获得了当年惠特布莱特最佳小说处女作奖。2003年，她被《格兰塔》选为“20名最佳英国小说家”。
她出版过九部小说和三本非虚构作品。本书为她第一部非虚构作品。
译者黄建树，生于宜昌，现居武汉。现为出版社文学编辑，业余时间读书，买书，译文，以及养娃。
