Stephen Fry is an award-winning comedian, actor, presenter and director. He rose to fame alongside Hugh Laurie in A Bit of Fry and Laurie (which he co-wrote with Laurie) and Jeeves and Wooster, and was unforgettable as Captain Melchett in Blackadder. Only good with his own narration. Funny and easy to listen to.

油炸叔版本的希臘神話重述，有聲書也是他本人念的，幾乎有種Marvin和伍斯特的混閤體在說學術風脫口秀的感覺。這本書把我們很熟悉的希臘眾神們的起源、傢譜、恩怨和逸事用英式調侃的方式又重新整理瞭一次（隻有眾神，不包semi-gods和heroes）。譬如寫到蓋亞去Tararus那裏找Kronos（商量乾掉後者他爹的事宜）的時候，Tartarus“像普通人招呼傢庭成員那樣跟蓋亞打瞭招呼：you've gained weight”，還跟蓋亞抱怨她終日在地府流連的兒子：“He's here all the time. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought he's had a man crush on me!”諸如此類的油炸叔式“畫外音”隨處可見。
