著者簡介
Stephen Edwin King was born the second son of Donald and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury King. After his father left them when Stephen was two, he and his older brother, David, were raised by his mother. Parts of his childhood were spent in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where his father's family was at the time, and in Stratford, Connecticut. When Stephen was eleven, his mother brought her children back to Durham, Maine, for good. Her parents, Guy and Nellie Pillsbury, had become incapacitated with old age, and Ruth King was persuaded by her sisters to take over the physical care of them. Other family members provided a small house in Durham and financial support. After Stephen's grandparents passed away, Mrs. King found work in the kitchens of Pineland, a nearby residential facility for the mentally challenged.

本来斯蒂芬·金的小说都是被我拿来当催眠读物的～他的书里面大量细腻平易的人物生活描写是非常没有剧情感觉的。 至少我开始的时侯这麽认为。 因为我有喜欢的小说反反复复看的习惯，比如《沉默的羔羊》看了不下二十遍，基本熟到能背了，所以怎样也不能接受改编的电...
評分故事情节性绝对高，小说中不断出现在小括号里的心理活动让人身临其境 不断穿插的故事也很自然 电影我也看过，很多东西自然没法表现，读者的想象力是作者的另一种文字，这是他高明的地方 上午坐在温度一般的图书馆看完了这本书，浑身冰冷......

评分一座語義搭建的迷宮，充斥著一語成讖的恐懼，個人的迴憶與睏頓，在這惡魔的遊樂場，召喚來層齣不窮的詭異畫麵和一種獸類的惡意，如靜靜滑行的蛇遊走，令人仿佛直麵暗夜的高峻黑山，一個被壓抑到底的尖叫...Kubric的改編把這種內裏震耳欲聾的恐懼完美貫穿呈現，King最後還是放手瞭，是一個happy ending，而沒有重現《驅魔人》的主題——個人的犧牲真的是和恐懼搭配最好的底色
