Julia Hollis had enjoyed an easy life in her London townhouse, with servants to attend her every need and a nanny to help raise her three children. But when her husband passes away, she discovers that he gambled away their fortune and that the only remaining property is The Larkspur, an old abandoned coaching inn in the quaint village of Gresham. Julia decides to move her family there and to turn the dilapidated inn into a lodging house. When a new vicar moves to the village, he and Julia are drawn to each other. But will their children succeed in keeping them apart?
