Sue Grafton，美國暢銷書女作傢，人稱“字母天後”，1982年始，寫瞭一係列以英文字母為標題的懸疑偵探小說，幾乎部部暢銷，獲奬無數。“字母係列”是以女偵探Kinsey Millhone作為第一人稱敘事的懸疑偵探類小說。以處女作“不在現場”來說，書走的是hard-boiled冷硬派風格，以人物為中心，喝酒抽煙泡吧調情罵粗口打架殺人，比較強勢的硬漢作風——隻是把傳統的男偵探變成瞭女偵探。而又因為是女性第一人稱視覺，硬朗風格之下，又多瞭點細膩，起到瞭調節的作用。今年，此係列最新一本已經寫到瞭“X”，而我在看完第一部的情況下也還有多看幾本字母係列的欲望。

很好看啊，女偵探很聰明，也很踏實，一點點查案，她很擅長和人說話，熟悉人的肢體語言，能讓不樂意配閤的人張嘴說話，而且善於分析
