文筆不太行，頭次看一本書裏有這麼多（），設定很多又沒解釋（早知道應該先看appendix 2) ，看得人一頭霧水。第一捲剛把女主的過去講完，小說開頭驅動女主行動的理由——找迴女兒，還八字沒一撇，坑挖瞭很多，猶豫要不要往下看。

寫得挺有文學性的，但無論是文字還是結構並沒達到渾然天成的境界。慢慢顯露的世界觀設定，讓閱讀有些吃力，但設定本身還挺有意思。主題是關於壓迫和解放，可以看齣作者深受Toni Morrison的影響。

結構還行，最後發覺沒講多少事，但是很復雜的結構講瞭很久好像發生瞭很多事似的，（很符閤情節地）對並不喜歡的角色命運也很關心，可能作者還是有些技巧的。但很奇怪沒事發生的時候寫得更好，大轉摺的時候往往突兀匆忙。苦逼黑暗滅世故事該挺受年輕讀者歡迎，所以科幻圈是不是心眼有點小。
