Kip Thorne is the Feynman Professor of Theoretical Physics Emeritus at Caltech, an executive producer for Interstellar, and the author of books including the bestselling Black Holes and Time Warps. He lives in Pasadena, California.

这本书，作者的专业程度无需质疑，然而比起《黑洞与时间弯曲》，本书还是欠缺了一点细致和从容。真正带来一点麻烦的，是不得不经常停下阅读，转而回忆电影里的情节桥段；可见流畅的阅读、愉悦的观影和缜密的科学之难以兼得。最不应该的，是电子书(豆瓣阅读)的排版生硬粗糙，难...

為瞭準備實驗室的journal club，特意畫瞭一晚上“囫圇吞棗”般地掃描瞭大部分內容。比想象中通俗易懂，再結閤相關電影情節，Kip構造的基於廣義相對論和graviational wave theory的多維宇宙栩栩如生。
评分看這本書，可以瞭解到物理和天文關於黑洞，蟲洞最新的研究成果，以及關於這些成果是如何應用到電影裏。多年不見，黑洞理論居然已經這麼復雜瞭……
评分從比較基礎的東西講起，但看得還是挺纍，有些也沒看明白。黑洞行星的軌跡太牛瞭。
评分I always think I hate Physics, which I did. But Kip Thorne changes everything for me. Astrophysics is interesting and amazing beyond my imagination. I am also fond of Kip's writing style. Plus,you will never find how fascinating the world is if you spend large amounts of your time shopping and gossiping.
