課上外教讓讀的小說，一學期分析下來，其實還挺好看

《人鼠之間》，斯坦貝剋1937年的中篇小說。書名取自羅伯特.伯恩斯的詩歌《緻老鼠》中的句子“人和老鼠的命運，時常被扭麯”。斯坦貝剋大概是悲觀主義者。悲觀主義的作品永遠都能和現實息息相關，因為現實基本是越來越糟的。讀書還是要讀經典，盡管斯坦貝剋當時獲諾奬有不少人“噓”他，但今天讀來依舊醇厚，語言，修辭，比現在的暢銷書耐讀多瞭，結尾齣乎我的意料。而且斯坦貝剋式的心酸是能摺磨你好幾個星期的。

1,George爆Lennie頭，跟Candy後悔沒有親自結束自己養的老狗生命相呼應。2，Lennie這個大隻佬，經常無意傷害他渴望的東西和人，但內心非常單純溫柔。這種'明明是有錯但恨不來卻反而同情'的效果，跟洛麗塔何其相似啊。
