MICK MANNING grew up in West Yorkshire and studied illustration at the Royal College of Art in London. He has written and illustrated over 60 books, many of them for Frances Lincoln, mostly with his wife BRITA GRANSTROM. Mick and Brita live in the Scottish Borders with their four sons.
