著者簡介
蘇珊·麥剋拉蕊(Susan McClary)
從小就接受鋼琴教育，哈佛大學音樂研究所博士，明尼蘇達（Minnesota）大學任教長達14年之久（1977-1991），後來轉往加拿大的麥基爾（McGill）大學任教三年（1991-94）。從1994年以後一直在加州大學洛杉磯分校任教。 她的教學成績優異，在明尼蘇達大學和加州大學洛杉磯分校其間，都曾分別獲得優良教師的殊榮。1995年因學術錶現優異而獲得麥剋阿瑟基金會（John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation）的獎助。
