初中的时候读过这本书，当时还是少女心爆棚，关注点都在主人公的感情生活中。最喜欢富兰克林，虽然在鸦片的作用下偷了宝石，但一切事出有因，而他对蕾切尔专一的感情也很打动我。但除了本性善良，感情专一之外，他也有些潜藏在内心中的英国贵族的高傲，这点也导致了罗姗娜最终...

《月亮宝石》拥有我喜欢的小说的大部分元素，推理（引发观众一直看下去得渴望），巨大的钻石以及幕后的传说以及装神弄鬼的印度人（或者随便什么巫师巫术，通常都是障眼法），生活很静止的上流社会庄园小姐和公子以及他们毫无意义的游戏和求爱，人性化复杂一点的奴仆阶层和他们...
