其實現在看來，Netty的設計，其本質上也是一種“Actor”模式，每個Channel就是一個Actor，但因為它畢竟不是真.Actor，導緻太多東西都堆在瞭ChannelPipeline和ChannelHandler上。

讀的MEAP第五版，感覺隻有大量的代碼範例，卻很少深入internals，有點浪費瞭“書籍”這種載體。netty盡管設計得非常漂亮，但可惜一直缺少好的文檔，所有本來對這本書非常期待，但是最後並沒有達到我的預期，有點遺憾。

還是英文版好！

涉及到很多專業名詞新概念看英文原版順暢得多，第十五章 Choosing the right thread model 真是寫得太好瞭。另外結閤Ron Hitchens 寫的《JAVA NIO》一起看對理解JAVA NIO和Netty還是很有幫助的。

之前在豆瓣上写过一个简评，吐槽第一章的翻译有问题，现在看那个评价有失偏颇。整体而言，翻译还是可以忍受的，书本身的质量其实很高，比一般的in action系列讲的要深入一些，又适可而止。 netty本身的抽象程度比较高，初学者容易一头雾水，我还是建议先掌握java 的block io和n...

书的组织很有序，读的是非MEAP版本的。书的结构组织很合理，Netty的主要API讲解很清晰。
