He offers an insider’s look at current systems that rely on reservoirs, underground pipe networks, treatment plants, and storm sewers to provide water that is safe to drink, before addressing how these water systems will have to be reinvented. 作者简介
David Sedlak is the Malozemoff Professor in the Department of of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, co-director of the Berkeley Water Center, and deputy director of the National Science Foundation’s engineering research center for Reinventing the Nation’s Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt). He is the 2014 recipient of the National Water Research Institute Clarke Prize.
From 2009 to 2014, Dr. Sedlak served as an associate editor of the journal Environmental Science & Technology, and as the editor-in-chief of the journal from 2015 to 2019.
David Sedlak is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) for 2016.

评分非常适合环境工程给排水方向的同学入门用，很多政策和社会层面的东西，在学校里是学不到的。最后的两个预测，感觉有一个在中国并不实用。
