In recent years, international law has become more relevant to world politics as rules have become more precise and obligatory and the delegation of dispute resolution to third parties more frequent. Political scientists have done significant work on international institutions, and international legal scholars have developed politically sophisticated ways of examining the law. In Legalization and World Politics, well-known political scientists and legal scholars offer a joint exploration of changes both in the world and in the two disciplines. The books was originally a special issue on legalization and world politics on the journal of International Organization.
作者简介
Judith L. Goldstein is Professor of Political Science at Stanford University.
Miles Kahler is J. Rohr Professor of Pacific International Relations in the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California, San Diego.
Robert O. Keohane is a Professor of Political Science at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
Anne-Marie Slaughter is J. Sinclair Armstrong Professor of International, Foreign, and Comparative Law, and Director of Graduate and International Legal Studies, at Harvard Law School.
