多雷果然是插畫界最大的神，不僅質量高而且異常的高産。他是全部采用用鎸刻法來作畫的嗎？難以置信。《聖經》插畫應該是最有他風格的作品，人物身材普遍峻拔瘦削、構圖結實莊重，有很強的宿命感。
