The concept of the object has been left behind. The universe of objects or 'offjects' presented here is the work of the design generation from 1992 to the beginning of the 21st century. The classic definition of 'design' has been rendered obsolete. An object's conceptual and narrative charge largely determines its material and physical configuration and many present-day pieces are not produced industrially. This new typology of designer, more open, multidisciplinary and remote from the traditional commercial circuit, but on a new market pulse.
