经典教材，我们系研究生和小本的动力课都是用的这本书，有几个知识点讲得很好，比如thermal wind, Ertel's PV, Eady stability problem。而且，书后有练习题答案！网上更能搜到详细的解题答案！书后有一张CD，但自从买了就没打开过所以并不知道里面是什么内容，囧。总体感觉一般，除了上课讲的几章以外其他并不实用。
评分号称气象学Bible,可是实在不能算是合格的教科书。作者思维混乱概念模糊，用词也非主流。（如果再摊上一个口音很重、讲课讲得很差的教授，这科你就准备夜夜秉烛吧呵呵后。）
评分虽然号称经典，但我觉得写得不是很好，许多概念讲得并不清楚。侧重于中高纬度大气动力。

评分大二时候看跟PhD时候看一点都不一样，有些章节讲的棒。
