经典教材,我们系研究生和小本的动力课都是用的这本书,有几个知识点讲得很好,比如thermal wind, Ertel's PV, Eady stability problem。而且,书后有练习题答案!网上更能搜到详细的解题答案!书后有一张CD,但自从买了就没打开过所以并不知道里面是什么内容,囧。总体感觉一般,除了上课讲的几章以外其他并不实用。
评分号称气象学Bible,可是实在不能算是合格的教科书。作者思维混乱概念模糊,用词也非主流。(如果再摊上一个口音很重、讲课讲得很差的教授,这科你就准备夜夜秉烛吧呵呵后。)
评分虽然号称经典,但我觉得写得不是很好,许多概念讲得并不清楚。侧重于中高纬度大气动力。
