JG的年度盛宴，終於看完。今年用瞭成名作《殺戮時刻》的設定，但講的是民事訴訟。白人老頭癌癥晚期，自殺前留下手寫遺囑，全麵推翻原先精巧設計的避稅方案；更驚奇的是，老先生在這份手寫遺囑裏剝奪瞭兒輩和孫輩的全部繼承權，而把財富的90%留給瞭貼身黑人女僕。為何會做齣這種變更呢？是因為老頭因病喪失遺囑能力，被黑人女僕施加不當影響，還是其他原因呢？到最後John叔纔揭齣謎底，端的精彩。
评分民事案件審判程序值得瞭解，對方律師錶現很精彩，否則勝之不武。整個程序很完整，閤情閤理。
评分格裏森姆啃起老資本，沿用《殺戮時刻》裏的男律師做主角，但整齣劇情基本都在人的意料之中。遺産爭奪戰與《殺戮時刻》情節無法相比

评分一部關於美國南方小鎮的故事，種族關係貫穿始終，但顯然作者沒有用臉譜化的方式來塑造人物。 最終和解的大結局似乎有些故意為之，算是瑕疵。
