著者簡介
約翰·伯蘭特，1939年齣生於紐約州雪城，父母皆為作傢。在哈佛大學英文係念書時就參與《哈佛妙文》的編輯工作。1961年大學畢業後前往紐約從事齣版業。曾擔任Esquire 雜誌副主編、New York 雜誌主編，1982年至1994年為Esquire專欄作傢。現居紐約。
