When a miller tells the king his beautiful daughter can spin straw into gold, she is locked in a room full of straw and if she does not prove it, she will die. The poor girl does not know what to do until a strange little man appears and offers to spin the straw in exchange for her necklace. The very next night the same thing happens and she gives the little man her ring. But the next night, the miller's daughter has nothing left to offer and must promise her first born child to him. The king, pleased with his gold, makes the girl Queen and a year later, the strange little man returns to collect the child unless, that is, she can guess his name...
